Frequently asked questions
What imagery inspires the escape room Inferno?
Dante's imagination reread through a dark-fantasy lens: demons, infernal circles and a near-impossible feat in the realm of the evil one. A theme you'll rarely find anywhere else in Milan's escape room scene.
What challenges await players during the game?
Recovering what the lord of the underworld has stolen, crossing one environment after another through trials that mix puzzles, relentless pace and scenic surprises to overcome as a team.
Is Inferno a horror room, or is it mainly about adventure?
More adventure than horror: the setting is dark and evocative, but there are no extreme scares. Not by chance, the recommended age starts at 12 — unlike the true horror rooms.
What type of puzzles define the experience?
Fast, chained challenges: decisions to make quickly, objects to use the right way and connections to spot under pressure, with a clock that shows no mercy.
What is Inferno's difficulty level?
Intermediate: a solid balance of pace and complexity — rewarding for well-drilled teams without discouraging those with fewer games behind them.
Is it a room recommended for more experienced players?
Regulars enjoy its driving pace, but the Intermediate rating keeps it open to newer players too — provided they're ready for quick decisions.
Which set-design elements add to the immersion?
Lights, sounds and a sequence of environments unfolding like the stages of a journey: the descent into the underworld is something you physically feel, step after step.
What makes Inferno one of Trap Milano's most distinctive experiences?
It's the only dark-fantasy adventure across the two venues and one of the most cinematic: the infernal theme, almost impossible to find elsewhere, makes it instantly recognisable and memorable.
How long does Inferno last?
One hour to complete the descent and climb back out. From arrival to exit, count about 90 minutes in total.
How many players can play Inferno?
From 3 to 5 players; veterans can go down as a pair, at the three-player rate.
How much does Inferno cost?
Between €75 and €125 total for the team, depending on how many of you cross the threshold — no per-person fees.
What is the recommended age for Inferno?
12 and up: the dark fantasy is atmospheric but never truly frightening, and teenagers teaming up with adults feel right at home.
Which languages is Inferno available in?
Available in Italian, English, Spanish and French, opening video included.
Where is Inferno located?
The gateway to the underworld is at Via Adeodato Ressi 23, Milan. ---
